EU Representatives for Dairy Council.

The U.S. Dairy Export Council, based in Arlington, Virginia, have appointed new representation in the EU to provide assistance to businesses across Europe interested in purchasing or using U.S. dairy products.

The Mistral Group of Oxford, UK, tel:0186 588 3400, will serve as the USDEC contact point in the EU for U.S. dairy processors and producers, and will provide counsel, information and trade servicing for EU importers interested in U.S. dairy products.

While Mexico, Japan and SE Asia are the primary outlets for marketing U.S. dairy exports, industry experts point out that WTO-mandated changes in trade rules will eventually open the EU to more U.S. dairy products.
