ETS formative assessment item bank: Educational Testing Service.
This online test item bank contains more than 12,000 math and language arts questions that K-12 teachers can use to help gauge student proficiency before high-stakes tests are taken. The questions can help teachers create custom formative assessments, target improvement efforts, adjust instruction throughout the year and develop personalized learning strategies for students struggling with a particular standard. Districts can also use the bank to create benchmark assessments.
In addition, ETS has upgraded its Instructional Data Management System for managing and using assessment data. so it can be a platform for the new item bank. IDMS Version 5.0 also has an enhanced curriculum guide that allows users to define the sequence of standards within specified instructional periods by grade level, course or subject. The new message center allows staff members to post message for all users.
