ERICSSON PROGRAMATIC BECOMES IRE DISTRIBUTOR IN SCANDINAVIA

 BALTIMORE, March 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Information Resource Engineering, Inc. (NASDAQ: IREG), today announced that Ericsson Programatic has agreed to distribute IRE products in Sweden and Norway. Ericsson Programatic is owned by Ericsson (50 percent), a well known global supplier of telephone switching systems for public networks, cellular mobile telephone systems, radio communication systems and networks, and Programator (50 percent), the largest software consulting company in the Nordic region.
 Ericsson Programatic operates as a systems integrator in the areas of communication systems, system technology, technical information and industrial technology. With a staff of 250 people, the company supports all phases of systems development, from system specification to installation, technical documentation, training and support.
 Ericsson Programatic's offices are located in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linkoping and Karlstad in Sweden, and Oslo in Norway. Some current customers include the Swedish Post Telephone and Telegraph, Scandinavian Air Systems, Asea Brown Boveir, Swedish Ordance, Volvo, Stora and NobelTech.
