 ERICK REICKERT RETIRES FROM CHRYSLER
HIGHLAND PARK, Mich., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Corporation

(NYSE: C) announced today that Erick A. Reickert, vice president-Power Train Operations, has chosen special early retirement effective Dec. 31, 1992.
Reickert, 56, joined Chrysler in January 1984 as director-Advance Product Planning and was elected a vice president in October 1984.
Robert A. Lutz, president of Chrysler Corporation, said, "We certainly shall miss Erick. His breadth of experience in the planning and manufacture of automotive products will be hard to match. He served Chrysler well when he was managing director of our operations in Mexico, as the chairman of Acustar, our parts manufacturing subsidiary, and most recently as head of Power Train Operations."
Reickert came to Chrysler from the Ford Motor Co. where he was executive director-Small Car Programs for Ford's North American Automotive Operations and, earlier, vice president of Special Product and Manufacturing Programs for Ford of Europe.
Reickert lives in Bloomfield Hills, Mich. He holds a master's in business administration from Harvard University and a bachelor's in electrical engineering from Northwestern University.
He plans to remain in the Detroit area to establish an automotive consulting company.
