 ERI NAMED IBM BUSINESS PARTNER
 WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- ERI, of Hauppauge,


N.Y., a systems integration services company, today announced it has been named an IBM Business Partner -- Cooperative Services supplier.
 ERI provides a comprehensive set of systems integration services which connect disparate hardware and system software in a wide variety of industry application environments.
 "This Cooperative Services agreement with ERI to provide AIX(A)- based systems integration services is the first of its kind for IBM," said Robert C. Timpson, vice president and IBM's Northeastern Area general manager. "ERI's service and support will help our customers maximize their investment in information systems."
 Under the terms of the Cooperative Services agreement, IBM will market ERI's systems integration services along with IBM RISC System/6000(A) workstations and other IBM hardware and peripherals focusing on applications in the trading floor environment.
 "There is a real synergy between IBM and ERI which will result in increasing the broad spectrum of services for our customers," said Bernard S. Buda, manager, IBM Securities Applications Marketing.
 "IBM has demonstrated a growing awareness and commitment to UNIX(B) through its AIX offering," said Mark Lemelman, chairman of ERI. "We expect this partnership will significantly expand the range of professional services customers can expect to receive from ERI and IBM."
