EQUIFAX SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH ISSC FOR COMPUTER AND COMMUNICATIONS OPERATIONS

 ATLANTA, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Equifax Inc. (NYSE: EFX) has signed a technology agreement with Integrated Systems Solutions Corporation (ISSC), a wholly owned subsidiary of IBM (NYSE: IBM), to operate a portion of Equifax's computer data processing operation and related functions.
 The value of the agreement is $650 million over a 10-year period.
 Under the agreement, Equifax will retain all applications and systems development functions and continue to maintain the security and confidentiality of its data. ISSC will provide Equifax with data center management; network management, operation, maintenance and support through its networking subsidiary, Advantis; LAN management; business recovery services and improved technology for the Equifax data center.

Rogers Jr., Equifax chairman and chief executive officer. "Our experience with IBM in our United Kingdom operations has convinced us that by teaming up with a world leader in technology development and support, Equifax can better focus resources on what we do best: solving the information needs of our customers."
