 EPITOPE NAMES REGULATORY AFFAIRS VICE PRESIDENT
 BEAVERTON, Ore., Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Epitope Inc. (AMEX: EPT) today announced that Elaine Dubesa has been promoted to the position of vice president for regulatory affairs. Dubesa joined the company in March 1987, as quality assurance manager and subsequently served as the manager and then director of regulatory affairs and quality assurance.
 Prior to joining Epitope, Dubesa was quality control manger for International Bioclinical Inc. beginning in 1980. A member of the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society and the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, she has held a variety of positions in medical technology, including section chief at Pathologists Central Laboratory in Portland, Ore., from 1978 to 1980, education coordinator for the hospital-based laboratory training program at Sherman Hospital in Elgin, Ill., from 1975 to 1978 and various supervisory positions in the Hematology Laboratory at the Mayo Clinic and at Beaufort County Memorial Hospital Laboratory, S.C. She received her bachelor of science in medical technology from Loyola University of New Orleans.
 Epitope Inc. is an Oregon corporation utilizing biotechnology to develop diagnostic tests for AIDS and other indications, therapeutic antimicrobial drugs and, through its agricultural unit, Agritope Inc., superior new plant varieties.
