EPICORE NETWORKS INC. - CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT
 CALGARY, Oct. 02 /CNW/ - EPICORE NETWORKS INC. (ASE symbol "EPN") is pleased to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, ENVIRONMENTAL NETWORK INC. has been engaged by ELIAS BROS. RESTAURANTS INC. to design, build and commission a new state-of-the-art biological waste water treatment plant at Elias' food processing facility in Warren, Michigan.
 ELIAS BROS. owns and controls the BIG BOY retail food chain of restaurants with over 700 franchise outlets world-wide.
 The new treatment plant will handle a flow rate in excess of 300,000 gallons of waste water effluent per day. Once commissioned, the facility will provide a blueprint for the food processing industry and also will serve as testimonial to the commitment by Elias Bros. in the field of environmental issues.
 Contractual supply of biological products for use in the treatment plant and franchises world-wide will provide cash flow to the Epicore Group of approximately $1.8 million per year.
 Epicore Networks Inc. is a conglomerate of companies providing products and services to the waste management and computer industries.
