EP women vow to shed fat.

Summary: ALKHOBAR: More than 100 overweight women in the Eastern Province city of Alkhobar have taken a vow to stop their unseemly eating habits after declaring a war on their voluminous physiques, Al-Madinah daily reported on Monday.

Struggling to shed some of the unwanted fat, the women have joined a program called "Challenge Overweight," organized by the Gulf women's Fatat Al-Khaleej Society. Vice chairperson of the organization's health committee Aneesa Al-Maebeed said that over 428 overweight women had joined the program since its launch. Under the supervision of body fitness experts and dieticians, participants are told about the dangers of being overweight and are encouraged to adopt healthy eating habits.
