 ENVIRONMENTAL TECTONICS REPORTS YEAR-END RESULTS
SOUTHAMPTON, Pa., May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Environmental Tectonics

Corporation (AMEX: ETC) today reported financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended Feb. 28, 1992.
Sales for the year ending Feb. 28, 1992, rose 15 percent to $27,819,000 compared to $24,174,000 for the last year. Net income decreased to $863,000, representing $.30 earnings per share vs. $1,496,000 or $.52 earnings per share for the prior year.
The fourth quarter reflected reduced profits with sales of $7,329,000 and net loss of $289,000 compared to $7,336,000 and net income of $324,000, respectively, for the comparable quarter in 1991.
William F. Mitchell, president and chief executive officer, stated, "The performance for the 1992 fiscal year was negatively affected by losses in our environmental test area, and some revisions of costs to complete certain other contracts. While our backlog at fiscal date is strong, totalling about $26.7 million, our contract mix will likely cause our performance for the first half of this year to be about the same as that for the same period last year."
