ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES USA, INC., AND WARNER-LAMBERT SETTLE DISPUTE

 MINNEAPOLIS, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Clean Green Packing Company of Minnesota, a wholly owned subsidiary of Environmental Technologies USA, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENVR) and the Novon Products Group of Warner-Lambert Company (NYSE: WLA) announced today that they have settled their patent litigation involving Warner-Lambert United States Patent Nos. 4,673,438 and 5,095,054 relating to starch-based thermoplastic materials. In settlement of the litigation, Clean Green Packing Company of Minnesota has agreed to the validity and enforceability of the Warner-Lambert Patents and has entered into a license agreement with Warner-Lambert under which Clean Green Packing Company of Minnesota will pay royalties on its sales of products which contain a starch-based thermoplastic material. The details of the agreement are confidential.
 Philip M. Gross, president, Novon Products, stated, "I am happy that we have reached an amicable settlement, rather than lengthy litigation." However, he reiterated his past remarks, "We will continue to pursue any and all patent infringers in order to ensure maximum shareholder value from this technology."
 Environmental Technologies USA, Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiaries, manufactures, markets, distributes and develops biodegradable and recycled substitutes for virgin plastic resins. Clean Green Packing of Minnesota manufactures and distributes biodegradable starch-based foam loose-fill packing material. United Recycling, Inc., converts post consumer, carpeting into polymer resins for remanufacturing commercial and consumer products.
