ENVIROMINT ANNOUNCES THIRD QUARTER RESULTS

 DALLAS, Sept. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- EnvirOmint Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ENVM) announced today results of operations for the third quarter ending July 31, 1993.
 Revenues for the quarter ended July 31, 1993 were $150,190 as compared to $350,300 for the same period last year. EnvirOmint also reported a gain on sale of assets of $1,017,325 which was the result of the sale of their Lube Center operations during May of 1993. Net income for the quarter was $30,928 ($0.005 per share) as compared to a Net Loss of $221,909 ($0.10 per share) last year. The company would have reported a $0.14 per share loss without the gain on sale of assets. Total assets decreased to $7,825,141 from $8,525,526 in the prior year. Stockholders' equity increased to $4,750,233 up from $4,473,609 at Oct. 31, 1992 year end.
 EnvirOmint also announced that during the quarter that it had withdrawn its tender offer for 100 percent of the issued and outstanding shares of The Home-Stake Oil ?Company and The Home-Stake Royalty Corporation. EnvirOmint has been battling for control of the Home-Stake companies for over two years. EnvirOmint currently owns approximately 21 percent of the Home-Stake companies which are Tulsa, Okla. based oil and gas exploration and royalty companies. Trial is now set to begin on Jan. 3, 1994 in EnvirOmint's litigation with some of the former shareholders of the Home-Stake companies regarding the ownership of substantially all of EnvirOmint's interest in the Home-Stake companies.
 On Aug. 8, 1993, the bankruptcy court in Las Vegas, Nev. affirmed EnvirOmint's settlement between the sellers of the EnvirOmint assets and EnvirOmint. As a result of such settlement EnvirOmint now owns control of the original selling companies Es-Tech International, Inc. and EMC Corporation. EnvirOmint has not yet stated its plans for these two new entities.
 On Sept. 16, 1993, Charles S. Christopher resigned as chairman and president of EnvirOmint and E. Dean Holland the vice chairman was appointed by the board as president and he will assume that role immediately. Holland has been on the board since June of 1993 and is a graduate of Columbia College, former Fire Chief of Tucson, Ariz. and the former director of national sales and marketing for Oilfield Industrial Lines which was a subsidiary of Kidde, Inc., a New York Stock Exchange listed conglomerate. Holland has also been an investor, director and officer of different private companies during the last several years.
