ENVIROFIL COMPLETES INTERIM FUNDING PROGRAM AND ANNOUNCES
OPENING DATE FOR MISSOURI LANDFILL
ST. DAVIDS, Pa., May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Envirofil, Inc. (NASDAQ: EFIL), an integrated solid waste management company, announced today that it had completed the placement of $1,250,000 of 10 percent convertible subordinated notes.
The proceeds of the placement will be used to fund additional construction at its Missouri landfill and for general working capital purposes.
Charles M. Hallinan, president of Envirofil, stated, "The funding will allow us to complete the access road and enable us to open the landfill to accept waste by June 15, 1992." The Missouri landfill is situated on 606 acres with 230 acres permitted as a landfill of which 35 acres are designated for solid waste disposal.
