ENSIS-AJ 6kW and 9kW.

Amada has introduced two new high-power fibre-laser cutting machines, the ENSIS-AJ 6kW and 9kW, which can carry out fast piercing and cutting applications on a wide range of materials.

The machines use Amada's automated variable beam control technology to deliver stable cutting across all material types and thicknesses. The technology can also change instantly between a high-power density beam for piercing and a high-speed, high-quality beam for cutting, thus reducing cycle time. The machines only require a single lens to process thin-to-thick materials, which helps maximise machine uptime and eliminate costly operator errors.

Amada's Auto Collimation technology is a further stand-out feature of the new machines, as it delivers exceptional beam diameter and focus-point control for high cutting speeds and surface quality, reducing the need for secondary finishing operations. Auto Collimation also produces a wider cut kerf on thicker materials, making for easier part removal from the sheet to reduce handling time.

The new ENSIS-AJ machines can process mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium up to 25mm thick.
