EMS-American Grilon.

EMS-Amer~can Grilon, a Swiss-owned plastics manufacturer, is spending $1 million at its North American head-quarters in Sumter, SC, to expand its product offerings. The primary benefit of the modifications, scheduled for completion in late 1992, is the capability to produce raw materials for food packaging. Another goal of the expansion is to give the 92,000 square foot, five-story facility the capacity to produce products that are presently only available in foreign markets. Plans call for lifting the roof on a section of the plant, addition of plastic-mixing reactors and modernization of other equipment.
