EMPRESAS ICA GRANTED HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT

 MEXICO CITY, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Empresas ICA Sociedad Controladora, S.A. de C.V. (NYSE: ICA), Mexico's largest construction company, today announced that it has signed a contract for NPs. 888 million with the Mexican Ministry of Transportation, for the construction of 124 Km of the Tehuacan-Noxichitlan, Oaxaca highway.
 This construction contract is not part of a concession and will be financed with Government funds. Construction is scheduled to begin this month and is estimated to be completed in 13 months.
 This highway is part of the National Grid Four Lane High Specification Highway Program and will allow the state of Oaxaca to be interconnected to the National Grid, facilitating access to and from other areas of the country, enhancing the economic development of the area.
 Empresas ICA Sociedad Controladora, S.A. de C.V. is the largest construction company in Mexico. It is engaged in a full range of construction and related activities. ICA constructs infrastructural facilities, as well as industrial, urban and housing construction for both the Mexican public and private sectors.
