EMPRESAS ICA ANNOUNCES SALE OF ITS SUBSIDIARY ELECTROFORJADOS NACIONALES S.A. DE C.V.
MEXICO CITY, Nov. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Empresas ICA Sociedad Controladora, S.A. de C.V. (NYSE: ICA), Mexico's largest construction company, today announced that it has sold its subsidiary Electroforjados Nacionales S.A. de C.V. (ENSA) to Harsco Corporation, a U.S.-based international leader in the manufacturing and distribution of grating. This sale is in line with the company's strategy to focus mainly on construction and construction related activities. Empresas ICA Sociedad Controladora, S.A. de C.V. is the largest construction company in Mexico. It is engaged in a full range of construction and related activities. ICA constructs infrastructural facilities, as well as industrial, urban and housing construction for both the Mexican public and private sectors. ICA is also involved in the construction, maintenance and operation of highways, bridges and tunnels under concessions and in the management and operation of water supply systems granted by the Mexican Government. In addition, ICA manufactures and markets industrial goods and owns and operates hotels.
