EMPIRE DATE FOR COMIC JACK.

COMEDIAN, actor and writer Jack Dee brings his live show to the Liverpool Empire this autumn.

The deadpan funnyman will visit the Lime Street theatre on September 28 as part of a UK tour.

It is six years since Dee last performed stand-up.

In between he has been a regular on TV shows like QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and Have I Got News For You, hosted Radio 4's I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue and has co-written and starred in four series of BBC2's hit sitcom Lead Balloon.

Now the 50-year-old is back, agonising over the slightest of annoyances and misdemeanours.

Tickets for the Empire show are pounds 22 and go on sale on Monday, available from the box office on 0844 871 3017 or online at www.liverpoolempire.org.uk
