 ELLIOTT RETURNS AS PRESIDENT OF MORSE SHOE DIVISION
 CANTON, Mass., July 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Malcolm L. Sherman, president


and chief executive officer of Morse Shoe, Inc. announced today the return of Jordan Elliott as president of its Lowell Shoe, Inc. division.
 Elliott has been a consultant to Lowell since he retired on Dec. 31, 1990. He had been associated with Lowell since 1954, having held positions in marketing sales and manufacturing and was president since 1959.
 Sherman said, "During his tenure, Elliott was instrumental in guiding the expansion of Lowell Shoe, Inc. and to its achievement of record sales and profits. Under his direction Lowell expanded its manufacturing capabilities and increased its customer base, both in number as well as through the expansion of its channels of distribution. Elliott was also the guiding force in expanding Lowell's product line by initiating the addition of the Soft Spots(R) line to its leading Nurse Mates(R) line."
 Morse Shoe sells popular priced family footwear through 500 Fayva stores and through leased self-selection footwear departments in over 500 major discount department store locations throughout the United States. Through its Lowell division, Morse Shoe manufactures and markets branded professional duty footwear for nurses and other brands of comfort casual footwear which it sells to independent retailers, primarily through its Nurse-Mates(R) and Soft Spots(R) brands.
