ELIZABETH CONNOR NAMED VP/HUMAN RESOURCES FOR DETROIT NEWSPAPER AGENCY
 DETROIT, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Elizabeth Connor was named vice president/Human Resources for the Detroit Newspaper Agency, Frank Vega, president and chief executive officer, announced today.
 "Connor's experience in human resources and her work in the publishing field bring a unique combination of skills and accomplishments to the areas she'll be responsible for at the Agency. She has an impressive track record of innovative personnel programs, sales and management development training and the ability to meet challenges constructively," said Vega.
 Connor was most recently vice president, Human Resources, Information Services Group, Maxwell MacMillan Communications and Publishing Group in Chicago. She began at MacMillan as director of personnel in 1987 and became vice president in August 1989.
 Connor was born at Fort Benning, Ga., and received a B.A. in management and business from Barat College in Lake Forest, Ill.
