EIP ASSOCIATES ACQUIRES PACIFIC ENVIRONMENTAL CONSULTANTS

 SACRAMENTO, Calif., Dec. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- EIP Associates has acquired Pacific Environmental Consultants, announced EIP Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Russell Faure-Brac. Pacific Environmental Consultants (PEC) specializes in fish and wildlife management, habitat restoration, and endangered species investigations.
 According to Faure-Brac, the acquisition of PEC is part of EIP's diversification strategy to provide a full range of environmental management services. "The acquisition of PEC expands our ability to serve our client's needs," said Faure-Brac, "particularly in the water and mining industries."
 PEC's founder Roy Leidy will join EIP as senior associate. With nearly 25 years of experience, Leidy has served as a scientist for the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, California Department of Transportation, University of California, and many private firms. His work includes reservoir fisheries research, wildlife habitat management planning, and regulatory compliance guidance. Leidy holds a bachelor's degree in forestry and resource management from the University of California, Berkeley.
 EIP specializes in environmental management services, including environmental permitting, resource management, environmental assessment, and community planning.
