17 March 2010 - The European Investment Bank (EIB) has raised the volume of its bond due in April 2015 by a bottom AUD500m (USD458m/EUR333m), Reuters said today citing a term sheet it has seen.

Australian and New Zealand Banking Group (ASX:ANZ), Westpac Institutional Bank and UBS (SWF:UBSN) were the lead managers of the issue, rated at top-notch AAA.

The increase was priced at some 29 basis points over swap and the margin is equal to 61 basis points over Australian Commonwealth Government Bonds (ACGB) with the same maturity.

The issue is expected to be priced tomorrow.
