EGYPT PRESIDENCY CONDEMNS CAIRO BLASTS.

Cairo, January 24 (BNA) - Egypt's presidency has condemned the blasts that hit the capital on Friday, killing five people and injuring dozens.

"These terrorist incidents, which aim at breaking the will of the Egyptian people, will only unify their will and determination to crystalize the goals" of their revolutions in order to "uproot terrorism in every corner of the country and implement the roadmap" the presidency said in a statement.

The presidency pledged "retribution for the martyrs and victims of the terrorist incidents and severe punishment for those involved, whether through planning, funding, inciting or execution.

" A car bomb hit Cairo's police headquarters Friday and was followed by two other blasts targeting police facilities in the Egyptian capital.

At least five people were collectively killed and 84 injured, according to health officials.
