 EFFECT OF NEWSPAPER STRIKE ON AREA MEDIA IS TOPIC OF SPJ MEETING
 PITTSBURGH, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The effects of the Teamsters strike at the Pittsburgh Press on the rest of the area media will be the topic of the Sept. 24 meeting of the Pittsburgh chapter of Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), it was announced today.
 The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m., in the student lounge, second floor, Lawrence Hall, Point Park College, downtown Pittsburgh.
 Panelists will include John Poister, news director, WTAE Radio; Helen Fallon, assistant professor of journalism and communications, Point Park College; and a representative from a Pittsburgh television station. Barbara Boylan, KDKA Radio anchor/reporter, will serve as moderator.
 The program is co-sponsored by the Pittsburgh professional and Point Park College SPJ chapters, and is free to the public.
