EDWARD E. FRUMKES NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, WARNER BROS. INTERNATIONAL THEATRICAL DIVISION.

 EDWARD E. FRUMKES NAMED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT,
 WARNER BROS. INTERNATIONAL THEATRICAL DIVISION
 BURBANK, Calif., May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Edward E. Frumkes has been appointed senior vice president, Warner Bros. International Theatrical Division, it was announced today by Wayne Duband, president of the company's International Theatrical Division.
 "Ed has made significant contributions to the continuing success of our division," stated Duband. "Through his instinctive acumen and talent for innovation, Ed has demonstrated an uncommon ability to stimulate and encourage excellence within our division. His contribution to our success in Korea and, more recently, his pioneering efforts in opening the Indonesian market are just a few examples of his many accomplishments. I take great pleasure in wishing Ed every success on his well-deserved appointment."
 Frumkes, who will continue to report to Duband in his new position, most recently served as vice president, International Theatrical Distribution since March of 1989. Frumkes originally joined Warner Bros. International in the position of director, International Theatrical Distribution in 1988.
 Prior to that, he was vice president of advertising and publicity for Columbia Pictures Corp., headquartered in New York. His earlier positions with Columbia's international operations included director of advertising and publicity -- Europe, Africa and the Middle East, based in London; manager of special projects; and international financial analyst, the latter two based in New York.
 Frumkes received his bachelor's and master's degrees in international business marketing and finance from George Washington University.
 Frumkes will continue to be based at the Burbank offices of Warner Bros.
