EDWARD ADLER NAMED DIRECTOR OF MEDIA RELATIONS FOR TIME WARNER INC.
NEW YORK, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Edward I. Adler has been named director of media relations for Time Warner Inc. (NYSE: TWX), it was announced by Jeanette Lerman, vice president of corporate communications. Adler has been manager of media relations for Time Warner since Time Inc. merged with Warner Communications in 1989. During the past two years, he has handled media relations for a variety of significant corporate announcements and issues. Adler, 39, joined Time Inc. in 1974 on the copy desk of People magazine. During his career at Time Inc., he was a reporter for Time magazine, a programming executive at Home Box Office, Inc., and the news editor for Time Inc.'s now defunct TV-Cable Week magazine. He joined the Time Inc. corporate communications department as a senior associate in 1983. Adler has a B.A. from Vassar College (1976) and an M.A. in journalism from New York University (1978).
