EDUCATORS FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY COME TO DETROIT TO STUDY CREATIVITY
 WHO: More than 200 educators from across the country.
 WHAT: The educators are in Detroit to attend the 1992 Invent
 America! Creativity Conference for Educators. A kickoff
 dinner will be held tonight (Friday, Oct. 30).
 Invent America!, used in over 30,000 schools, is designed
 to spark creativity, inventiveness and problem-solving
 skills in students in grades K-8. The conference will
 include workshops on utilizing art, whole language and
 technology to stimulate creativity and problem-solving
 skills.
 Richard S. Miller, executive vice president of U.S. Kmart
 stores, will give the keynote address at the dinner and
 will talk about preparing kids to succeed in today's
 competitive global marketplace.
 WHERE: Henry Ford Museum.
