EDMONDS FERRY TRAFFIC TO BE RE-ROUTED NOV. 9,
WASHINGTON STATE FERRIES SAYS
SEATTLE, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- On Monday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Burlington Northern will be replacing the railroad tracks in front of the Edmonds Ferry Dock. Ferry traffic will be re-routed, the Washington State Ferries said today.
Drivers will enter the upper toll plaza as usual, and will then be re-routed west on Dayton and north on Railroad Avenue. No vehicles longer than 40 feet will be allowed to utilize the Edmonds/Kingston Ferry during this time frame. Turns on the re-routing will be too sharp to accommodate long commercial vehicles.
Edmonds Police and traffic attendants from Washington State Ferries will be directing traffic through the detour area.
Vehicles, longer than 40 feet, should plan on utilizing the Seattle Terminal from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 9.
