EDITEK, INC. TERMINATES INVESTMENT BANKING RELATIONSHIP WITH JOSEPHTHAL LYON & ROSS, INC.

 BURLINGTON, N.C., Dec. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- EDITEK, Inc. (AMEX: EDI.EC) reported today that the Company and Josephthal Lyon & Ross, Inc. have mutually agreed to terminate their investment banking relationship. James D. Skinner, President and C.E.O., stated that the relationship had not been in the best interests of both parties and that EDITEK would seek a new investment banker in the new year.
 EDITEK, Inc. is an emerging, biodiagnostic company with patented technology for the performance of rapid, on-site assays including one-step assays. The Company currently has products on market or research and development and supply agreements that address the human/clinical, drugs of abuse, U.S. Department of Defense tests for biological substances, veterinary and agrodiagnostics and food safety testing markets.
