ED PELLETIER APPOINTED VICE PRESIDENT, RESIDUAL ACCOUNTING, MCA TELEVISION GROUP

 UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., Oct. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Ed Pelletier has been named Vice President, Residual Accounting, MCA Television Group, it was announced today by Jerry Clark, Vice President, Finance, MCA Television Group. Pelletier was formerly Director of Residuals, MCA Television Group.
 In his new capacity, Pelletier will be responsible for the computation and payment of residuals for Universal Television, Universal Pictures, Universal Pay Television, and Universal Home Video. He will also continue to oversee television network and syndication billings for past and present television, theatrical and home video product, as well as the allocation of cash receipts for residual and participation purposes.
 "Ed's involvement in the growth of the residual concept through many generations of guild agreements has spanned much of the life of the residual process itself," said Clark. "His accumulated knowledge and expertise regularly serves a wide variety of needs at the Studio." Pelletier, who recently celebrated his 35th anniversary with MCA, began his career at the Company's Revue Productions in 1958.
 The MCA Television Group consists of Universal Television, MCA TV, MCA TV International, MCA Television Entertainment, and MCA Family Entertainment.
