ECP announces re-polling at constituency in Karachi.

| ISLAMABAD, May 12 (KUNA) -- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced officially on Sunday re-polling at 43 ballot stations of a constituency in Karachi city of southern Pakistan. A delay in polling was reported in 43 polling points of Karachi, NA-250 constituency. At one ballot center, polling didnt take place.

ECP announced re-polling due to delay and allegations by many political parties that the electroal process was rigged.

Moreover, arrest warrants of nine presiding officers were issued by police on request of District Returning Officer (RO) of Bhakhar due to delay in providing of results.

The presiding officers are accused of not providing results from their polling stations yet as all the results have been submitted to the ECP to finalize the tally. (end) sbk.rk KUNA 121314 May 13NNNN
