ECOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENT, INC. IS SELECTED FOR $100 MILLION U.S. AIR FORCE CONTRACT

 BUFFALO, N.Y., June 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Ecology and Environment, Inc. (AMEX: EEI) announced today that it was selected as the prime contractor along with its team subcontractor, Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc., to negotiate a potential five year contract with the U.S. Air Force Combat Command, headquartered at Langley AFB, Va. This is a task order contract with a $100 million ceiling over a base period of one year with four one-year extensions.
 Following contract negotiations the prime/sub team will provide environmental compliance and analysis services at sites throughout the continental United States and limited overseas locations. In all, 26 Air Force bases have been identified for contract work which includes various environmental surveys and assessments, environmental compliance audits, base closure assistance, and multi-media compliance surveys and studies. Additional sites and locations may be identified for work as the contract progresses.
