EBSCO expands Springer-Verlag agreement, offers new database.

EBSCO Publishing announced that it has expanded its license agreement with publisher Springer-Verlag. The company also announced that H.W. Wilson's Art Index Retrospective: 1929-1984 database is now available via EBSCOhost.

Springer-Verlag Agreement

The agreement with Springer-Verlag will bring the full text of 187 journals to the EBSCOhost online databases, including the Academic Search and Business Source product lines. It also allows EBSCO to electronically distribute Springer's journal content to educational institutions, libraries, and other research facilities around the world.

Newly included are journals such as Animal Cognition, Clinical & Experimental Medicine, Decisions in Economics & Finance, European Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery & Trauma, and Heart & Vessels.

Art Database

Art Index Retrospective: 1929-1984 covers more than 55 years of art journalism from nearly 600 publications. It includes English-language periodicals, yearbooks, and museum bulletins and also features publications in French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Dutch. The database offers many document types such as feature articles, interviews, film reviews, book reviews, bibliographies, and exhibition listings.
