SELLERS were trying to cash in on Michael Jackson's death last night by flogging memorabilia on eBay.

Hundreds of hastily-printed "Jacko memorial T-shirts", key rings and even computer mouse mats appeared on the popular internet auction site within hours of the King of Pop's death being announced.

Many of the T-shirts feature a picture of the singer, accompanied by the dates "August 29 1958 - June 25 2009". They are being flogged for between pounds 5.99 and pounds 19.99.

Other designs included ones with the words "The King is Dead" and "Rest in Peace" on them.

One seller was even offering to personalise cheap pounds 1.99 keyrings with the buyer's name - calling it: "A lovely gift for all Michael Jackson Fans!" Another bizarre gift was a set of Jacko RIP drinks coasters offered for pounds 4.20 plus 80p postage and packing for fans who want to toast their idol.
