EASTWIND CAPITAL PARTNERS RECEIVES U.S. DOT TENTATIVE APPROVAL

PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Eastwind Capital Partners Inc. today reported it received tentative approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation for authority to operate domestic scheduled air service.
Eastwind said it anticipates final DOT approval will be granted shortly after completion of its required funding and the FAA certification process.
In his announcement of the DOT approval, James E. McNally Jr., chairman and CEO, stated, "Eastwind's mission is to provide quality passenger air service along the East Coast at low fares. Travelers throughout the East are frustrated by high fares and onerous restrictions attached to discount fares. Eastwind will offer an alternative that reflects the needs of the air traveler."
