THE Eagles concert at Stormont has been sold out in record time.

The group are to take over the Stormont grounds a week before the show on June 29 so a fleet of trucks can deliver stage equipment.

There will be 24-hour security around the site and the lavish stage will take three days to set up.

Last night, a show insider said it was to be one of the most remarkable concerts ever staged in Northern Ireland.

"When the Eagles land at Stormont everyone will know about it, " he said. "This show is going to be huge.

After the concert the group will move on to Dublin where they will perform at the RDS on
