E.W. SCRIPPS RELEASES NOVEMBER REVENUE AND STATISTICAL REPORT

 CINCINNATI, Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The E.W. Scripps Company (NYSE: SSP) today released its monthly revenue and statistical summary for November 1993. The E.W. Scripps Company operates 20 daily newspapers, nine television stations and cable television systems with 697,000 basic subscribers. The company also is a worldwide syndicator and licensor of news features and comics.
