E.F. (MANNY) LIVAUDAIS JR. TO RETIREFROM ARCO AFTER 36 YEARS OF SERVICE

 LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19 ~PRNewswire~ -- E.F. (Manny) Livaudais Jr., who has headed ARCO's government affairs activities in Washington D.C. for the past seven years, will retire from ARCO after 36 years of service. The retirement is effective Dec. 1.
 A native of New Orleans and graduate of Tulane University where he received a bachelor's degree in history and political science, Livaudais, 61, joined ARCO in 1957.
 He moved through a number of assignments in the land department before becoming ARCO's representative on the President's Commission on Personnel Interchange in Washington D.C.
 Over the next several years, he accepted a number of challenging assignments. He was District Landman in Alaska, a member of the Federal Government Relations staff, manager of Public Affairs for Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. in Anchorage, Alaska, and manager of Public Affairs for ARCO Oil and Gas Co. in Dallas.
 He was appointed to his current position as manager of Federal Government Relations in 1985.
