 E. ROBERT FERGUSON JOINS MK'S NORTH PACIFIC EXPANSION
 BOISE, Idaho, June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- E. Robert Ferguson, who has more than 35 years experience in the construction industry, has joined Morrison Knudsen Corp.'s (MK) (NYSE: MRN) Construction Group and was named president of MK's North Pacific Operations, the company announced today.
 Prior to joining MK, Ferguson served as chairman of the board, chief executive officer, president and chief operating officer of Kasler Corp., a heavy construction company in Southern California.
 "We are fortunate to have someone of Bob Ferguson's caliber join us at MK as our growth in the North Pacific accelerates," said William J. Agee, MK chairman and chief executive officer. "We welcome his talent and experience."
 Ferguson is based in Hawaii and will be in charge of MK's recently acquired E.E. Black Ltd. and its affiliated companies. These experienced firms currently are performing construction projects throughout the Hawaiian Islands, other North Pacific islands and Pacific Rim countries.
 "MK is ready to grow in these areas, and Bob Ferguson's extensive background and management skills will be great assets," said Jack Granger, president of MK's Construction Group. "He has managed projects all over the world -- many in the Hawaiian Islands and the South Pacific -- and is an excellent fit with MK's construction strategy."
 Ferguson also has played key roles in projects in Saudi Arabia, Japan, Israel, Brazil, Panama, Honduras, Chile, Canada, Philippines, England, Mexico, Alaska and the continental United States.
 He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and received a degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan.
