E-SYSTEMS SIGNS AGREEMENT WITH AIR FORCE ACADEMY

 DALLAS, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- HRB Systems, an E-Systems Company (NYSE: ESY) based in State College, Pa., has entered into a five-year Co-operative Research and Development Agreement (CRDA) with the United States Air Force Academy, (USAFA) Department of Foreign Languages.
 Under the terms of this agreement HRB Systems will work with the USAFA to enhance, commercialize and market computer-aided foreign language instruction applications.
 The USAFA Department of Foreign Languages is a world leader in pioneering the use of Interactive Video and Multi-media instructional technologies. HRB Systems, a leader in the development and implementation of computer-based training solutions, will be working with the Academy to provide commercial enhancements to their current computer-based systems, and will be marketing the resultant products both in the U.S. and abroad.
 "This is an excellent example of the possibility for Industry/Government partnership that was envisioned by Congress when it created the CRDAs with the Technology Transfer Act of 1986," said Mike Keebaugh, Vice President and General Manager of HRB Systems.
 The first product resulting from the agreement is expected to be available in the spring of 1994.
 E-Systems, with annual sales of more than $2 billion, is a worldwide developer and producer of electronics systems and products in the areas of intelligence, reconnaissance and surveillance systems, command and control, specialized aircraft maintenance and modification, guidance, navigation and control, communications and data systems.
