E-SYSTEMS RECEIVES RADIO PRODUCTION CONTRACT

 DALLAS, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- E-Systems ECI Division, St. Petersburg, Fla., has been awarded an $11.7 million production contract for its newest UHF radio, the Multimission UHF SATCOM Transceiver (MUST). Deliveries under the new contract are scheduled to begin in February 1994.
 Since introducing the MUST radio in early 1992, ECI has received contracts for more than 150 units for ultimate use by U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps customers.
 The MUST RT-1273AG, an advanced full-duplex transceiver with integrated 100W power amplifier, upgrades and enhances existing communications systems while combining state-of-the-art modem and transceiver functions into a single airborne transportable rack package.
 MUST interoperates with all existing UHF radio systems and complies with Joint Chiefs of Staff requirements for narrowband secure voice and Demand Assigned Multiple Access applications.
 The ECI Division is a leader in designing and producing state-of- the-art communications systems that provide capabilities for space- based, shipboard, airborne, ground-based and mobile communications through the world.
