E-A-R Composites.

A $500,000 project at E-A-R Composite's Newark, DE, plant will increase capacity for urethane foam production. The expansion includes installation of a higher-volume dispensing system at the wet end of the foam-casting line, as well as customized, automatic winding and trimming equipment to handle finished materials as roll stock. Completion is scheduled for early 1992, at which time E-A-R will be able to produce urethane foam in roll form to a maximum width of 54". Current roll capabilities were limited to 33" widths.
