Duo held for selling drugs to minors.

Dubai Police have arrested two people suspected of selling sedatives to under-18s in the Al Rashidiya area.

The suspects were arrested during a sting operation organised by Dubai Police. The first suspect, identified as M.A from one of the Gulf countries, was seen exchanging the sedative pills for a sum of money at a petrol station late at night. Police officers surrounded the area before arresting the suspect.

After searching M.A. and his residence, a large amount of sedative pills were found stashed in a closet. After interrogating the suspect, he confessed to selling the sedative pills to mostly people under 18 years of age.

The other suspect, M.J. was also arrested during a similar sting operation. Both suspects were charged with possession and dealing in narcotics, and drug use.
