VVWHAT they say Aidan O'Brien, trainer of Lieutenant General He's been coming on with each run this year and ran well in a Listed race at Leopardstown last time. He's in good form and the trip will suit.
Michael Halford, trainer of Tonkinese He's well drawn and the step up in trip shouldn't be a problem. He's been working well and should give a good account. Dermot Weld, trainer of Zalfana She's in good form but would appreciate any ease.
Ed Dunlop, trainer of Manjaam He was going to run in the King George V at Royal Ascot but doesn't want soft ground and ran badly on soft at Newbury, so we diverted him to this race. The ground will be faster and he's got a nice racing weight.
Willie McCreery, trainer of Raconteur The ground and trip will suit. The prize-money is very good and we're hoping to get some of it.
Johnny Levins, trainer of Lex Talionis We have bottom weight and Killian Leonard will be claiming 7lb. He's in very good form and we're looking forward to a nice run.
