Duncan Joins Atmos Energy Corporation as Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

DALLAS, July 10 /PRNewswire/ --

Atmos Energy Corporation (NYSE: ATO) today announced that Leslie H. (Les) Duncan has joined Atmos as Vice President and Chief Information Officer.

Before joining Atmos, Duncan was Senior Vice President & CIO for Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. Prior to that he was Vice President & CIO for The Limited and earlier served as Director, Information Services for British Petroleum Company PLC. Prior to acquiring his corporate experience, Duncan served as a Telecommunications Officer in the US Air Force.

Duncan holds a degree in Mathematics from Wichita State University and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado. He also earned an MBA from the University of Alaska.

Duncan replaces Cleaburne Fritz, Vice President, Information Services who is retiring from Atmos later this year with more than 30 years of service.
