Dudley officers certified as child safety seat inspectors.

DUDLEY -- Three Dudley Police Oficers have been certified as Child Safety Seat Inspectors.

Officers David Carpenter, Arthur Ferreira, and Philip Megas received this certification after attending a four-day training course at the Braintree Massachusetts Police Department.

The officers are available to assist citizens in the proper installation and use of various child safety seats.

This is especially valuable to new parents, first time grandparents or others who are unfamiliar with these seats.

These officers work a combination of day and evening shifts.

Residents are free to stop in at the police department and inquire if someone is available to assist them; however, an appointment is encouraged to ensure one of these officers will be available to help you.

For more information, call the Dudley Police Department at (508) 943-4411.
