DONALD Trump has repeated his comments that the Duchess of Sussex was "nasty" but admitted she is doing a good job.
The President attacked Meghan after she called him "divisive" and "misogynistic" during his 2016 presidential campaign.
Asked if he thought she was "nasty" or not, President Trump told Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain today: "Some of the things she said It's actually on tape.
"And I said 'Well, I didn't know she was nasty.' I said she was nasty about me.
"Essentially I didn't know she was nasty about me."
He went on: "You know what? She's doing a good job, I hope she enjoys her life... I think she's very nice."
And added, when pressed further: "And that's okay for her to be nasty, it's not good for me to be nasty to her and I wasn't" Trump also revealed he "congratulated" her husband Prince Harry when they met recently.
He said: "I think he's a terrific guy. The Royal Family is really nice."
He said they did not speak about the "nasty" remark because it was "so falsely put out there".
