Drydocks World services are a hit with customers.
In the field of conversions, Great Ship Ramya vessel scored 79 per cent with 300,000 LTI free man-hours
Dubai: Drydocks World, the international service provider to the shipping, offshore, oil, gas and energy sectors, achieved high customer satisfaction scores in ship repair, new builds and conversion in 2014.
In the field of ship repairs in the main yard, Drydocks World scored 89 per cent. With 289 ship repair orders received during 2014, Drydocks World's success is evident from the turnaround of vessels being serviced at the Drydocks World-Dubai yard.
New building projects received a good response too. Dolwin Beta 2 won 88 per cent for three million LTI free man-hours. The FLNG Turret attained a customer satisfaction score of 77 per cent with five million LTI free man-hours and the Solan oil storage facility had a score of 82 per cent with 2.8 million LTI-free man hours.
In the field of conversions, Great Ship Ramya vessel scored 79 per cent with 300,000 LTI free man-hours. During 2014, Drydocks World-Dubai received 306 orders and 95 per cent of those orders were converted into projects with 82 per cent repeat customers.
