Drugs plot: Five charged; SUNDAY SHORTS.

FIVE men have been charged over an alleged drugs plot involving the supply of heroin in Plymouth from Liverpool.

It follows a threemonth undercover investigation by officers from Zephyr, the South West's regional organised crime unit.

Zephyr said that detectives had gathered evidence to show that drugs were travelling into the area from Liverpool.

The five men have now been jointly charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs in Plymouth.

They include four from Merseyside - Steven Kehoe, 29, of Felspar Road, Liverpool; Thomas Kehoe, 26, of Liverpool; Daniel O'Flahertty, 22, of Grove Road in Wallasey and John Hunt, 50, of Prescot Road, Old Swan, Liverpool.

The fifth man, 34-year-old Andrew Roberts, is of Bell Lane, Orrell, Wigan.

Zephyr said: "Five men have been jointly charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs."
