Drug raid men held.

GARDAI said yesterday they have smashed a drugs ring with the arrest of three men in a forest.

Cocaine worth EUR140,000 and more than EUR50,000 in cash were seized near Boyle, Co Sligo.

The men are being held in Sligo town and are expected to appear before a special court later this week.

Two suspects, in their 20s, are from the area while the third man, in his 40s, is from Lucan in Co Dublin.

They were arrested by detectives from the Sligo- Leitrim Drugs Unit as the cocaine and cash were allegedly being exchanged in the forest on Monday.
